Recent discoveries makes it look like quite a few dinosaurs had feathers, even the T-Rex, who's closest living relative today is the chicken.

Beaks developed over a long period of time. He didn't have a beak, but his muzzle didn't have feathers, much like how a vulture's head and neck doesn't have feathers.
